Ukiyo Japanese spirits are born in Chiba, east of Tokyo, and are made with rice that is masterfully distilled into our Gin and Vodka expressions.
From a harvest of rice we first distill a traditional Japanese Awamori spirit. We redistill in pot stills for a pure vodka that is smooth and subtly sweet. Like Japanese shōchū or saké, this rice vodka is ideal for sipping or pairing with food.
Principal notes are soft, sweet and floral with specifically violet and citrus flavours in the background.
